Update: Ubisoft is now teasing the River Raid update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on Twitter, fuelling expectations that the highly anticipated February patch will launch next week. You can find said tease below.
Something is coming from down the river, a new ally, a new friend, a new opportunity.
Best start preparing now, it won’t be long until you’re back on the water yourself…

As soon as the official patch notes become available, we’ll be sure to post about them here on the site. Until then, you’d best start getting your crew together.
Original Story: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is due a huge update this month. For a while now, we’ve known that the game’s new ‘River Raid’ activity would drop at some point in February — potentially alongside a hefty bug-fixing patch. Ubisoft’s been quiet on the matter for a few weeks and we’re almost halfway through the month, but don’t despair: it sounds like the update’s going to arrive very soon.
The PlayStation Game Size Twitter account keeps note of both products and patches that are added to PlayStation’s database — and guess what? A beefy looking update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was tagged on the 10th February (thanks JorRaptor). It’s probably going to be available to download next week, with Ubisoft likely to post official patch notes in the coming days (we’ll let you know when it happens).
Until then, let us know if you’re looking forward to Valhalla’s big February patch in the comments section below.
