CD Projekt RED reports that Cyberpunk 2077 has now sold more than 13 million copies as of 20th December 2020, meaning the RPG shifted another five million units after launch. The developer stated it had reached eight million pre-orders on the day of release. This statistic also accounts for refunds processed up until the date in question, so the numbers could have been even higher had the Polish studio not actively promoted the chance to get your money back.
The Push Square PS4 review for Cyberpunk 2077 was published last night, where it was coined “the single biggest disappointment of the PS4 generation” with a 3/10 rating. The negative reception hasn’t slowed down sales as of right now, however. Maybe some folks have a morbid curiosity to see just how bad it really is?
