Mediatonic has released a new Christmas-themed live-action trailer for Fall Guys, and is giving players that log in over the festive period a new in-game outfit.
Fall Guys is celebrating the launch of its third Season at the moment, but developer Mediatonic is eager to give players even more content.
In a new holiday special advert (below), the developer announces via wholesome live-action skit that anyone that logs in between December 21 and December 25 can grab a Santa outfit that they can slap on their character in the game show-inspired game.
The video is worth a watch; it’s pretty sweet and manages to encapsulate that strange and compelling tone that the team behind the game has managed to leverage so well.
This isn’t the first time the folks at Mediatonic have introduced a themed costume into the game, either: we’ve seen Sonic the Hedgehog, Godzilla, and a particularly horrible goose appear in the game, too.
Fall Guys Season 3 is currently out on PS4 and PC, and it introduces a whole new Winter Knockout theme to the multiplayer title.

If you’re eager for more content, it’s going to come: the game has managed to sell over 10 million copies, after all.
Each Season in the game lasts about two months, so we’ll no doubt have even more bean-related content to enjoy in 2021, once Season 3 wraps up early in the year (probably around February).
