Kuro Game has today released free-to-play action RPG Punishing Gray Raven for iOS and Android devices worldwide (America, Europe, South-East Asia, and Australia). The mobile title originally released in China in December 2019, followed by a Japanese release in December 2020.
The game met more than 1 million pre-registrations ahead of launch, meaning anyone who downloads the game at or near launch will receive bonus currency to start, as well as a voucher to redeem one of five high-tier characters for their squad.

Punishing: Gray Raven is an ultra-stylish free-to-play Action-RPG for Android and iOS. Set in a dark, post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world, the world has been overrun by Corrupted machines and androids, twisted and overtaken by a biomechanical virus known as The Punishing. The last remnants of mankind have escaped to the space station Babylonia, and the Gray Raven special forces unit leads the mission to reclaim their lost homeworld.
The game combines Visual Novel style storytelling, complex RPG squad management elements and intense 3D arcade hack n’ slash combat inspired by classic console character action games like Nier: Automata and Bayonetta.
Players will battle legions of mindless machines controlled by the virus, as well as crossing swords with intelligent Corrupted androids and enormous mechanical bosses as the story unfolds. Each character has their own array of special moves and perks, and players will deploy heroes three at a time to the field, free to tag in and out of combat instantly, even mid-combo.
Between missions, players will recruit new members to the Gray Raven squad and assemble them into three-person strike teams to lead on increasingly dangerous missions. Characters will level up and grow in power along with their weaponry in order to tackle the threats that lie ahead.
