Before the holidays, SNK announced that it would finally be showing King of Fighters XV off to the world in January 2021. The big reveal was scheduled for today — that’s the 6th January — but the company’s hit the brakes at the last minute.
“Today’s announcement of KOF XV and SAMURAI SHODOWN’s Season Pass 3 which was originally scheduled for (Jan. 6th) 6pm PST has been postponed,” writes SNK’s official Twitter account.
“We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the announcements. We will inform our fans as soon as the new date and time has been confirmed, and appreciate your kind understanding.”
No specific reason for the delay has been given, but we’ve all waited this long to see King of Fighters XV in action, and we’re sure that holding on a bit longer won’t be so difficult. Here’s hoping that we get a new date in the near future.
