2020 has come and gone, so Twitter has decided to reveal how active the gaming world was throughout the year. A lot of the results are not all that surprising. According to Twitter, Fortnite had been a highly followed gaming topic, at #6, and it was also #5 of the year’s 10 most tweeted-about games.
That said, there are a couple of Nintendo-related surprises that are included in the charts. Animal Crossing: New Horizons was the #1 most tweeted-about game of the year, and the Animal Crossing franchise was #9 of the year’s 10 most followed gaming topics.
