This one certainly went under the radar! 2K has quietly revealed that PGA Tour 2K21 has received a bump to 60 frames per-second on Xbox Series X and S, and the option is available on Xbox One X as well.
2K announced the news very subtly in an official post on the 2K forums:
“Just a heads up that with today’s content update, we’ve added 60fps for the Xbox and PlayStation versions. From the main menu just go to Settings, then Graphics. There you’ll see a VSync option that by default is 30 Hz. Click on it and you’ll now find 60 Hz. “
From the reports we’ve seen so far, the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions appear to run with no issues at all at 60FPS (one player even suggested “it feels like a new game entirely“), but the Xbox One X seems to be struggling with it, causing “rampant judder, shimmering and some frame skipping”. Something to keep in mind!
