Activision has a sweet deal lined up for those still sitting on the fence debating whether to buy Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War or not. Starting this Thursday and running through until 21st January 2021, both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 owners can download a free trial of the Zombies mode, giving you access to everything the full game has to offer as far as the undead are concerned. This includes the new Die Maschine map as well as the Cranked and Onslaught modes, the latter of which is exclusive to PlayStation platforms.
And if you like what you see once the trial period is over, all of your progress will carry over into the full game should you decide to purchase it. This follows up on the recent multiplayer offering that saw those who don’t own the latest entry in the flagship FPS franchise sample some online bouts over Christmas.
