PSVR killer app Blood & Truth also goes on sale.
There may be cheaper headsets on the market these days, but PSVR is still one of the most affordable for a dedicated gaming experience. And now, with these latest PSVR Black Friday offer, you can get it for even cheaper in one of the best PS4 Black Friday deals.
While a standard PSVR Starter Pack will get you up to speed with the required PS4 camera and VR Worlds, it’s the PSVR Mega Pack where it’s at for the full works. With this, you get four additional full-sized VR games including Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, Skyrim VR, Resident Evil 7 and Everybody’s Golf VR to keep you immersed for hours on end.
If you’ve been patiently waiting for a sale to try to tech for yourself then you’ll find the best PSVR Black Friday deal is currently at Amazon.
The new version features VR Worlds, Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, Skyrim VR, Resident Evil 7 and Everybody’s Golf VR. Whereas, in the old edition, you’d get DOOM VFR and Wipeout Omega Collection instead of the last two games.
Whichever you pick, you’re getting the delightful Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, so everyone’s a winner. As you’d probably guess, the more recent version has a smaller discount compared to the older one but both are at least £50 off.
For slightly less money, you can also get the PSVR Starter pack with Resident Evil 7 for £179.99.
If the bundled games aren’t already an incentive, some of this year’s excellent PSVR titles are also on discount. Headlining is Blood & Truth which is down to £16.99. From the same studio behind VR Worlds, it’s the closest the headset has to a fun rollicking Uncharted-like VR experience.
If you want to swap out cockney gangsters for cyber ninjas, the action-packed Sairento VR is also down to £19.99. Incidentally, if you decided to make a saving with the second Mega Pack but still fancied Everybody’s Golf VR, you can also pick that up separately for just £13.49.
As for the PS Move Controllers? Well, the best price we’ve seen for them right now is £69.99 at Game.
Of course, you’ll also need a PS4 to run PSVR, which is still going to be more affordable than shelling out for a PC rig that can run most other VR hardware like Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. Fortunately, there’s also plenty of great PS4 Black Friday deals right now, whether you’re looking for a base or Pro model.
