In case you forgot, Sea of Thieves “Gold & Glory” event is currently underway, and for once it’s actually taking place on a weekend.
Until 18th January midnight (UK time), players can earn twice the reputation and gold than they normally would.
Our Gold & Glory Weekend is live, meaning you’ll get twice the usual reputation and gold for your piratical antics between now and 11:59pm GMT on January 18th! Yep, it’s running over an actual weekend this time. pic.twitter.com/uycg6D3JSA— Sea of Thieves (@SeaOfThieves) January 15, 2021
Unfortunately, it’s not been smooth sailing for everyone – with some players reporting certain issues such as not receiving XP and gold. Various other issues have also been popping up and Rare has been doing its best to resolve these problems.
The issues that some players were experiencing with intermittent trader, store and emporium access should now be resolved. If you are experiencing ongoing issues, please raise a support ticket: https://t.co/HvqNlfvKLE— Sea of Thieves Info & Support (@SoT_Support) January 17, 2021
If this is your first time booting up Sea of Thieves on Xbox Series X|S, you’ll also receive the free Duke Ship Set. You have until 9th May to claim this.
