Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is one of the best games from a galaxy far, far away ever, and that special experience has just gotten even better on PlayStation 5. Developer Respawn Entertainment has issued an update that allows the game to run and look a lot better on Sony’s latest machine. The patch is available to download right now if you’ve already got the title installed on your PS5.
The headline addition is 60 frames-per-second support. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order ran at 30FPS on a base PlayStation 4 and fluctuated between 45 and 50 frames-per-second on PlayStation 4 Pro, so this is a nice upgrade on PS5. Also, postprocessing has been increased to 1440p while dynamic resolution has been disabled. Instead of sitting somewhere between 810p and 1080p, the game will now render at a rock-solid 1200p.
