This week’s Famitsu sales data is in from the land of the rising sun and includes physical gaming software sales as well as hardware sales. This week sees the Nintendo Switch family shift an additional 229,698 units, far surpassing the other platforms. However, both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles are facing shortages according to Gematsu. There were nine Nintendo Switch games in the top ten this week with the only other game being the long-awaited but heavily criticised Cyberpunk 2077.
