Love to see the hypocrisy in both fanboy camps in this comment section, haha. It must be fun to pretend that gobbling up two of the industry’s publishers is the same as making one franchise exclusive. Meanwhile, some people are so angry at the sheer depth of Microsoft’s pockets that they act like Sony doesn’t pull stuff like this as well, albeit on a much smaller scale. Folks, it’s okay to have some transparency and not like either practice. But people are so deep into their own hate for the other plastic box, that it’s okay when “their” corporation does it.
I would bet all the people complaining about how PlayStation took away Final Fantasy while acting as if Xbox can do no wrong will be radio silent when The Outer Worlds 2, the next Doom, Fallout & Elder Scrolls all come out as Xbox exclusives. Because that is what is going to happen. Why can’t we all just agree that any company taking away established franchises from another console is bad?
All nonsense aside, this game looks really interesting. Xbox has a lot of original IP in the pipeline, which is one thing that really can’t be said on Sony’s end. Have a pleasant day, friendos.
