Developer Hidden Path Entertainment has revealed that it’s currently working on a “AAA, third-person, open-world fantasy RPG that will be taking place inside the Dungeons & Dragons franchise.”
The studio, which previously worked with Valve on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and also remade Age of Empires II: HD Edition in 2013, is hiring for a selection of positions on the game, including a graphics programmer, lead graphics programmer and senior technical artist, with the title set to be built using the Unreal Engine.

There’s no word yet on which platforms this game will be targeting (nor any potential release dates), but a line in the graphics programmer advertisement asks that the candidate ideally has “experience working with a console.”
It’ll probably be quite some time before we get any additional news on this one, but if you’re a keen D&D fan, don’t forget that Tuque Games’ Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is set to arrive at some point in 2021 in the meantime.
