The UK’s physical game sales for the week are in, and it’s Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales doing the business for Sony yet again. It appears as though this performance was driven by replenished PlayStation 5 stock, as the game sold 83 per cent of its copies on the new console. It remains in second place.
The Last of Us: Part II, which re-entered the chart at number three last week, drops to 11th. Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War moves up a few positions to fifth, as does Grand Theft Auto V, moving to seventh. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been just outside the top 10 for a couple of weeks, but returns in 10th this time.
Outside of the top 10, Demon’s Souls is on the rise, jumping from 21st to 17th, and the PS5 version of Yakuza: Like a Dragon sees it re-enter the top 40 in, er, 35th.
Here’s the latest top 10 in full.
