It’s time for another Xbox Game Pass tease! This time, it comes courtesy of the official Xbox account for Germany, hinting that the service will be bringing back an old favourite – presumably in January.
Once again, the tease was provided in the form of a ‘Melissa McGamePass’ fake email, highlighting the upcoming release of The Medium, as well as announcing a fan favourite is “officially coming back”.
Here’s the key info (provided by Google Translate):
“Next up… you remember when we added REDACTED and everyone was happy, but when it went off Xbox Game Pass, everyone was sad? Well, it’s officially coming back!”

It remains to be seen what the game is, but we’d take a guess that it might be something like Grand Theft Auto V or Red Dead Redemption 2, both of which only stuck around for a very short time on Xbox Game Pass in 2020. Fallout 4 also seems very possible, or maybe even something like Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
